The Bennett Lab brings together talented professionals and students from a variety of backgrounds.
Lindsay MartinMy background in clinical psychology and research experience has focused primarily on acceptance and mindfulness-based behavioral approaches for making and sustaining healthy lifestyle changes. Most recently my work involves adapting, testing and disseminating technology-based lifestyle interventions for weight management in high-risk, underserved pregnant populations, and developing and implementing digital tools for high-quality remote data capture.

Christine McKinneyI am a registered dietitian nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. My clinical background and research interests are in weight management, perinatal nutrition, and diabetes education. I enjoy intervention development and working with our health coaches.

Kayla HurtI pursued my Masters in Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health at JH School of Public Health. As an aspiring full-spectrum doula, my passion includes improving the health and well-being of marginalized birthing people and their families. My roles on the study include participant engagement, outreach and maintaining and fostering positive relationships with our participants and community members.

Divya NairI received my B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from Johns Hopkins. As an aspiring physician, I hope to work towards sexual and reproductive health equity. My role on the Healthy for Two team involves patient recruitment and clinical stakeholder engagement.

Chigolum Pamela OyekaI am a Nigerian trained physician, Post-doctoral fellow and researcher who is passionate about primary care, especially women's health. My goal is to enhance health outcomes, particularly for women and mothers, by conducting evidence-based research that informs clinical practice and promotes the prevention of obesity-related health complications.

Tianxu ChenI am a data analyst for the H42/H4U trial. I earned my master’s degree in biostatistics in 2024. I have a strong interest in clinical trial design, longitudinal data analysis, and advanced data science methods. In my free time, I enjoy films, novels, and video games.

In my 20+ years working in higher education and 6 years as a Senior Administrative Coordinator, I have supported various research studies and other projects. My role is to make sure that all faculty and study teams have the supplies and resources that they need. In addition, I investigate and confirm applicable policies and procedures to help faculty and their study teams accomplish certain tasks and goals.
